Hey, friends!

Last week we had two really fun gigs. The first was a house concert in the extremely well-equipped back yard of Gord & Chris McAulay. They gathered 40 or so friends on Thursday night for our first free house concert in the Summer of Swing as we work toward our goal of pre-selling 500 copies of the soon-to-be recording Go Fat Daddy. It was a great success, with us getting a BIG step closer to our goal...and we had a great night meeting a bunch of wonderful folks, including Patti from the Blues Festival, Len & Linda, Mo, , Mama B, and the gang from Potash. Even Bill from Long & McQuade showed up, just to see if the new mike he sold me was as great as he'd made it out to be! :) (It is! Thanks, Bill!) We'll post photos as soon as we get them--here and on Facebook...

Last night (Friday), was a beautiful night to be on the river, and we were there with a group of hearty river-goers for our second cruise on the Saskatoon Princess of the 2009 summer season.
